There are 16 national assembly seats from NA-257 to 272 in Baluchistan. If KPK has the first constituency in KPK then Baluchistan has the last constituency. Baluchistan produces split mandate in every election since 1970. So Baluchistan will produce another split mandate in 2018 general elections on July 25.

NA-257 Killa Saifullah cum Zhob cum Sherani
A tough contest is expected in this constituency which consists of three districts. A three way contest is expected on this seat between MMA, JUI-N and PKMAP. These three parties have the major vote bank in this most backward and underdeveloped conservative constituency. Maulana Abdul Wasay of MMA is leading on this seat against Abdul Rauf of JUI-N, Allah Noor of PKMAP, Atta Muhammad of BAP and Amin Khan Jugayzai of PTI. In 2013, Maulana Sherani of JUI-F won this seat against Maulana Asmatullah of JUI-N with close margin of 2500. A close contest is expected between MMA, JUI-N and PKMAP on this seat. Maulana Abdul Wasay of MMA has narrow lead on this seat.
NA- 258 Loralai cum Musakhel cum Ziarat cum Duki
A close contest is expected between Maulana Amir Zaman of MMA, Sardar Yaqoob Nasir of PML-N, Israr Tareen of BAP and Habib Rehman of PKMAP. Maulana Amir Zaman won this seat in 2013 and defeated Sardar Yaqoob Nasir of PML-N with a narrow margin. PTI, PPP and JUI-N candidates are also in the run. Maulana Amir Zaman has the lead on this seat.
NA-259 Dera Bugti cum Kohlu cum Barkhan
Mir Dostain Domki of BAP will defend his seat against Nawab Mir Ali Bugti independent, Nawabzada Gazain Marri independent, Mir Baz Khan Khitran of PPP, Noor Ahmed Shah of PKMAP, Babar Marghzani of PTI and Abdul Hayee of BNM. Mir Dostain won this seat as independent candidate and later joined PML-N. Now he is contesting on BAP ticket. This constituency is wide open and close contest is expected here. This was once the stronghold of late Nawab Akbar Bugti. It is difficult to predict the winner on this seat. A close contest will take place between Mir Dostain and Mir Ali Bugti. There are 37 candates in this constituency and most of them contesting as independent. Mir Dostain has the lead on this seat.
NA-260 Naseerabad cum Kachhi cum Jhal Magsi
Khalid Hussain Magsi will defend his seat against Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind of PTI and Mir Asim Kurd independent candidate. Mir Khalid Magsi won this seat as independent candidate in 2013 and later joined PML-N. He joined BAP few months back. There are many independent candidates in this constituency. MMA has fielded Maulana Abdullah and PPP Syed Naseer Shah Dopasi. Khalid Magsi seems in the lead but close contest is expected.
NA-261 Jaffarabad cum Sohbatpur
Mir Changkhaiz Khan Jamali of PPP, Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali of PTI, Zahoor Hussain Khan of BAP, Azhar Khosa independent and Mir Hussain of MMA are the main candidates in this constituency. But the real contest will take place between Mir Changkhaiz Jamali, Azhar Khosa and Mir Muhammad Jamali of PTI. This seat belongs to the Jamali tribe. Mir Zafrullah Jamali won this seat as independent candidate. He joined PML-N but quit it few months ago. Mir Changez Jamali has narrow lead. Very close contest expected between PTI, Independents and PPP candidates.
NA-262 Pishin
Muhammad Essa Khan of PKMAP is leading against Maulana Kamal u Din of MMA. Maulvi Agha Muhammad of JUI-F won this seat with margin of only 700 votes against Essa Khan of PKMAP. Agha Muhammad is not contesting this time. JUI-N is another major political player in this constituency. JUI-N has fielded Shamsul Haq, BAP Gauhar Ejaz Kakar, PTI Hashim Panayzai and PPP Abdul Qayum Kakar on this seat. A close contest is expected on this seat between PKMAP and MMA.
NA-263 Killa Abdullah
Mehmood Achakzai is facing Salahuddin of MMA and Nazuddin of JUI-N in this constituency. He seems in the strong position in this constituency. He won this seat with the margin of 13000 votes. PTI has fielded Naseebullah, PML-N Abdul Wali and PPP Bismillah Kakar.
NA-264 Quetta (1)
This constituency is created in the new delimitations. Abdul Rehman of PKMAP has an edge in this constituency. He is facing strong challenge from Maulana Asmatullah of MMA, Saifullah Khan of PTI, Amir Afzal Mandokhail of PML-N, Yousaf Khilji of PPP and Ali Nasir of BAP. A close contest is expected on this seat.
NA-265 Quetta (2)
Mehmood Achakzai of PKMAP is facing Qasim Suri of PTI and Saeed Hashmi of BAP, Raheela Durrani of PML-N, Mir Lashkari Raisani of BNP-M and Hamdullah Sabor of MMA. He still has an edge in this constituency. He might be able to win a close contest. He won this seat with the margin of 22000 votes and defeated Qasim Suri of PTI. Saeed Hashmi is a veteran parliamentarian and main leader of Baluchistan Awami Party (BAP). His wife Ruqia Hashmi contested the 2013 elections and got nearly10, 000 votes. He is facing strong challenge from these three candidates. He won this seat in 2013. But this time he is facing lot of problems in this constituency. A very close contest is expected on this seat. 27 candidates are in the run in this constituency.
NA-266 Quetta (3)
Hafiz Hussain Ahmad of MMA, Jamal Tarkai of PKMAP, Agha Hassan Baluch of BNP-M, Prince Ahmad Umer Ahmadzai of BAP, Zainulabdain Khilji of PTI and Muhammad Younus of PML-N is fighting to win this constituency. Hafiz Hussain Ahmed won this constituency several times. But he did not contest last two elections. Abdul Rahim Mandokhail (late) of PKMAP won this seat with the margin of 4000 votes. But MMA won the by-election with clear margin. Agha Hassan Baluch of BNP-M and Maulana Manzoor Mengal ofMMA got more than 25000 votes each. A close three way contest is likely between MMA, PKMAP and BNP-M. It’s too close to predict.
NA-267 Mastung cum Shaheed Skinderabad cum Qalat
Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani of NP, Manzoor Baluch of BNP-M, Syed Mehmood Shah of MMA and Sardar Sanaullah Zehari of PML-N is fighting a tough battle against each other. Sardar Kamal Bangulzai of NP won this seat with clear margin. MMA was the closet opponent. Nawab Shahwani of NP has an edge on this seat. PPP has fielded Ayatollah Durrani and PTI Mir Taj Muhammad.
NA-268 Chagai cum Nushki cum Kech
This is new constituency created in new delimitation. General ® Abdul Qadir Baluch of PML-N, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hasani independent, Usman Badeni of MMA, Muhammad Hashim of BNP-M and Ghulam Farooq of NP is locked horn in a an exciting and close contest. Abdul Qadir Baluch of PML-N seems having an edge in this constituency. Sardar Noor Ahmad of BAP is also in contest. This seat is wide open and any candidate can clinch this seat.
NA-269 Khuzdar
Sardar Akhtar Mengal of BNP-M has the edge in this constituency as MMA is also supporting him as the result of seat adjustment. He is facing strong challenge from Sardar Abdul Rehman of PML-N, Khalid Bizenjo of BAP and Asif Baluch of NP. Shafiqur Rehman of PTI and Abdul Rahim of PPP is also in the run. Maulana Qamar of JUI-F won this seat with a narrow marjin of just few hundred votes. BNP was the runner up.
NA-270 Panjgur cum Washuk cum Awaran
Abdul Qadir Baluch of PML-N is defending his seat against Ehsanullah Reki of BAP, Sabir Ali Baluch of PPP, Abdul Karim Nosherwani independent, Phulen of NP and Mir Nazeer Baluch of BNP-M. Abdul Qadir Baluch won this seat against Ehsanullah Reki with a close marjin of 1200 votes. A close contest is expected on this seat. Abdul Qadir Baluch also won this seat in 2008. Abdul Qadir Baluch has an edge in this constituency.
NA-271 Turbat cum Awaran
There are 15 Candidates participating in general election 2018 from NA 271 constituency. The key participants and political parties from NA 271 are Barkat Ali of PPP, Attaullah of PML N, Khalil Ahmed Bulidai of MMA, Jan Muhammad Dashit – BNP, Abdul Hassan NP, Zobaida Jalal of BAP and Syed Ehsan Shah of BNP-A.
NA-272 Lasbela/Gawadar
Sardar Akhtar Mengal is facing strong challenge from BAP chief Jam Kamal and independent candidate Aslam Bhutani in this constituency which is also the last constituency of Pakistan. The PPP is supporting Akhtar Mengal on this seat. The National Party of Hasil Bizenjo is supporting Aslam Bhutani. Lasbela is the strong hold of Jam family for decades but this time the constituency also included Gawadar and other areas. Jam Kamal won this seat in 2013 and defeated Akbar Lassi of PPP with wide margin of 21000 votes. A close three way contest is expected on this seat.
